Now you see him: Are you a "Whovian"? Can you be a "Whovian" and a "Trekkie," too? Guess you'll just have to attend this weekend's Anglicon to find out for yourself.

For three days starting today, Anglicon — a group united by love of British television — presents the sixth Anglicon — a convention of lovers of British television. Both Anglicons have the same aim: to raise money for the promotion of British programming — specifically, "Doctor Who" — on Tacoma public TV station KBTC (Channel 28).

Anglicon raises upwards of six grand every year, and hopes to do it again this time around by bringing in Colin Baker, the sixth actor to play the spacey Doctor Who.

Baker and former British rocker Michael Des Barres (also seen on "MacGyver") will take part in question-and-answer sessions with conventioneers and just generally mingle with fans.

Anglicon will also feature a casino night, masked ball, art show and charity auction.

The whole event will set you back a mere $40 at the door and slightly less for separate days. For more information, contact the Anglicon headquarters at the Radisson Hotel in SeaTac, where the "Whovians" will convene: 244-
