DOCTOR Who fans are expected to snap up a limited edition new model of the show's coolest monster. The Ood, which sport red mouth tentacles and a bald head, were voted one of the best foes the Time Lord (David Tennant, 36) faced.
Now adult fans can buy a full-sized bust of the fearsome creatures, cast from the same moulds as the television aliens.
They will cost £650 and only a limited run will be DOCTOR: David Tennant made by special effects artists at MillenniumFX's studios in Chesham, Bucks. A spokesman for the firm said: "This is certainly not a toy. "We're only producing 250 of the special edition Ood and our order book is already filling up."
Doctor Who collector Chris Balcombe, right, who owns three Daleks, said: "These reproductions are as close as I can get to a screen-used original.
