BritBox already has a good amount of the Doctor Who back catalogue, but today it adds two new serials. How so? The Patrick Troughton stories The Faceless Ones and Fury from the Deep, first shown on BBC1 in1967 and 1968, haven't survived as complete copies on film, but they've been revived with animation (right) filling in the gaps. They're both very decent adventures and feature significant departures from the supporting cast, with Fury from the Deep in particular offering thrilling horror with its tale of parasitic seaweed.
