In celebration of the show's 30th anniversary comes a repeat of Dr Who and the Daleks: Planet of the Daleks (BBC 1, 7.30pm, or BBC 2, 5.30pm in Scotland), a six-parter from 1973. Jon Pertwee may not be everybody's favourite Doctor, but the Daleks are surely everybody's favourite villains. Sadly, they are not too plentiful in this first episode, but as the Doctor falls into a coma and his assistant Jo (Katy Manning) ventures out into a jungle full of poison-spitting plants, you can be sure of plenty of tension. The Tardis can be seen in Tomorrow's World (BBC 1) at 7pm.
