As bland as a bucket of tripe that's Dr Who
IT FLEW through the air with the greatest of ease.
Was it a bird? Was it a plane? No. it was a giant cowpat hurtling through space to threaten the earth with imminent destruction in Dr Who.
I wasn't impressed. Its name was Nemesis, but for all the menace it conveyed. they may as well have called it Norman.
It had more charisma, however, than Dr Who's latest incarnation, Sylvester McCoy. Years of time travel have knocked the quirky edges off the poor doctor'd personality. which has become as bland and boring as a bucket of boiled tripe.
Programmes of similar vintage, like Coronation Street are still sprightly, but 25 years of the same tired formula have rendered Dr Who as old as the hills I'm ready for after watching it.
Seriousness
I hear it now has a cult following in the USA — proof beyond doubt that the BBC should give it a Christian burial.
