Letter of the week

from Simon, Hampton Park

WHO Cares (Guide, Oct 3) recently said that David Tennant's Dr Who was nothing compared with Jon Pertwee. Speaking as someone who started watching it in the Pertwee days and still watches the new episodes, thank God they moved with the times. Can you imagine Pertwee trying to hold a conversation with a modern-day Londoner? He'd be laughed out of town.

from Francine, Mt Eliza

I THINK the new Dr Who series has been great. Who Cares should lighten up or not watch if they feel so distraught over the matter. I can't wait for the Christmas special.
