CIRCUS clowns signed up for the latest Dr Who adventure along with TV stars Peggy Mount, Jessica Martin, Christopher Guard and Gian Sammarco of Adrian Mole fame.
The Doctor, played by Sylvester McCoy (left), is lured to a circus on the planet Segonas and finds it has been changed from innocent fun to a sinister death trap.
"We weren't able to use our regular studio," says producer John Nathan-Turner. "So we put up a Big Top in the car park at the BBC's Elstree Studios."
