DR. WHO (BBC-1, 5.50) returns for a new series and gives you three Dr Who's for the price of one. The Doc (John Pertwee) is menaced by a new monster, The Gell. And his extraterrestrial bosses, the Time Lords can't do much to help him as they're being attacked from a black hole in space. So to give him a bit of help they materialise his earlier selves -- in the shape of William Hartnell, the first Dr Who, vintage 1963 and Patrick Troughton, Dr Who number two, who took over the part in 1966.
Spelling correction: Jon Pertwee
