THE new Doctor Who, Christopher Eccleston, has decided to call it quits. But to be honest, neither my sister nor I -fans of the show in the Jon Pertwee/Tom Baker eras -thought he was much good.
As for saying he may be typecast, all I can say is that it hasn't done Messrs Baker or Pertwee any harm.
As for "who" will replace him, I think the modern-day Time Lord should be younger, to go with Billie Piper, who my sister and I think is the best assistant ever.
