[edit]

IT HAS to be said.

Maybe it's time to lock the galaxy's most famous Time Lord in his Tardis for ever.

There were howls of outrage to make a cyberman quiver when Michael Grade decided to axe Dr. Who for a while to see if the series would regain its gusto.

Sadly this hasn't happened. Even the return of the Daleks in the doctor's latest adventure hasn't helped.

Sylvester McCoy isn't happily cast as the doctor. In fact things have never been the same since Tom Baker left the role umpteen regenerations ago.

Whisper it, there are greybeards in this very office who reckon things started going downhill very quickly once Bill Hartnell was replaced.

One thing we're all agreed on though — it's time to exterminate the doctor.
